Shabs Design is a Manchester-based brand and product design studio. We work with UK and international clients on brand identity, product design, web, print, and editorial systems.

User-centred, data-informed work across B2B SaaS, enterprise platforms, and AI-native products. End-to-end design ownership, from problem framing and discovery through to production-quality UI.

Deep experience building scalable design platforms: semantic tokens, component systems, and interaction patterns that enable teams to ship faster with higher consistency. Strategic thinking paired with hands-on craft in complex, data-rich environments.

Every discipline,
one subscription

1. Brand & Strategy

Brand identity systems, voice and tone, design tokens. Built to scale across product, marketing and sales surfaces, not stop at a logo.

2. Product Design

End-to-end product flows, design system audits, UX research synthesis. Discovery translated into feature work your team can actually ship.

3. Web & Marketing

Marketing sites, landing pages, pricing pages, micro-experiences. Hand-crafted with the same care brought to product UI, deployed on day one.

4. Motion & Interaction

State transitions, scroll-driven reveals, micro-interactions that guide attention. Animated only where it earns its keep.

5. Front-end Build

Production HTML, CSS and JS. Design-system implementation, accessibility audits. The seam between Figma and shipped pixels closed by the same designer.

6. Bilingual & RTL Design

Bilingual brand systems, right-to-left product UI, and editorial layouts in Arabic, Urdu, Punjabi, and Farsi. A specialist capability for clients shipping across multiple scripts.

FAQ

Common
questions

What’s actually delivered each month?

As many design briefs as you can send. Standard handles one active brief at a time; Priority handles two in parallel. There’s no monthly cap on output. It’s capped by your pace of briefing, not ours.

What counts as one brief?

Anything self-contained that takes a senior designer 1–3 days to a first draft: a landing page, an onboarding flow, a brand identity sprint, a logo refresh, a pricing page redesign. We’ll tell you upfront if your brief is actually two briefs.

How fast is “48-hour first draft” really?

Two working days from receiving a complete brief (Monday–Friday, UK office hours). Priority cuts that to one working day. Revisions land same-day on either tier, usually within hours. If a brief is incomplete we’ll come back with clarifying questions before the clock starts.

Who actually does the work?

Shabir Hussain, director of Shabs Design, leads every engagement. Over fourteen years across SaaS, enterprise platforms and eCommerce. One senior designer end-to-end. No juniors, no offshore handoff, no account managers. The same person who runs your discovery also writes your front-end.

What’s not in scope?

Things that aren’t a fit for a fast async subscription: complex multi-stakeholder discovery, full back-end engineering, ongoing community management, video production, 3D / illustration outside our wheelhouse, NFT or web3 launches. We’ll flag any of these upfront and either narrow scope or refer you to a better partner.

What if I don’t like the first draft?

Same-day revisions are unlimited, so we iterate until you’re happy, or you spend the rest of the month working on a different brief. If a subscription month ends without you ever shipping something you liked, pause and we’ll talk through what’s misfiring before charging again.

Can I pause or cancel?

Yes, one click via the Stripe billing portal. Subscriptions are month-to-month, no notice period. Pausing keeps your queue and brief history; cancelling closes the account but you keep all delivered files.

Why subscription instead of project pricing?

Project pricing means a sales cycle, a statement-of-work, a scope-creep negotiation, then weeks before kick-off. Subscription compresses that to: pay, brief, ship. Most clients save 3–6 weeks of overhead per engagement and use the saved time to ship more.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, a one-page mutual NDA, signed before the first brief if needed. We’ll also work under your existing master agreement if your legal team prefers.

Where do files live?

Figma for design source, your repo or Google Drive for production assets, your Notion / Linear / Asana for brief tracking. We work in your tools by default; if you don’t have a setup we’ll spin up a shared Notion + Figma space for you.
